Thank you for your interest in making a charitable contribution
to the National Association of Amateur Ball Player.
With your support, we will reach many
more children and change more lives. Your support will help
pay for the recruitment and training of "America's
Amateur Athletes". Our program is volunteer-driven
and we strive to provide a safe and mutually rewarding
experience for our youth and volunteers. Our amateur athletes
compete in local, state and national competitions which
provides our athletes with maximum exposure, increased
confidence and enhanced leadership abilities.
How You Can Make Your Gift:
Personal
or Corporate Check: Individuals and corporations
make make a tax exempt donation by simply completing our Sponsorship
Form.
Cash/Credit Card: A gift of cash is available
immediately for the use by NAABP, and in most cases is fully
deductible for donors
who itemize their federal income taxes. NAABP accepts gifts
via Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. Contact
Cathy Bracken, Vice President for Fund Development, at cbracken@naabp.com
or simply Click

Stocks/Securities: No matter what tax bracket
you are in, making gifts with appreciated stock makes sense.
Tax benefits for the donor who has owned appreciated stocks
for more than one year are two-fold: capital gains tax is
avoided upon transfer to NAABP and the donor can receive an
income tax charitable deduction for the full market value
of the stock on the date of the gift. Depending on your tax
bracket and the size of the gift, there may be an opportunity
to carry over the charitable income tax deduction over several
years. Contact Cathy Bracken at cbracken@naabp.com
for more information.
Corporate Matching Gift: Many corporations
match gifts to charitable institutions made by employees and
directors; some will match the gifts of employee spouses and
retired employees as well. Contact your personnel for more
information. Our league office address is NAABP P.O. Box 19476
Jacksonville Florida 32245.
Deferred Gift: A deferred gift will allow
a donor to make a planned gift to NAABP over a period of years
or as part of estate plans. Properly designed, it can generate
a charitable income tax deduction. It can be designated for
a specific purpose or provide unrestricted support for NAABP's
mission-directed activities. These gifts are made in the form
of trusts, bequests or endowments. For more information contact
Cathy Bracken at cbracken@naabp.com.
